                             Serios was the husband of Xanthe, the magistrate of Pitana, and the father of Theoros and Makarios, who lived during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, Serios went off to war with his countrymen while Xanthe remained behind as the magistrate.[1]
