Concept art of Eivor arriving at Little Mother's sanctum

The Aquila Sewers were an underground passage and a base of deliverance for the Bellatores Dei in late 9th century Aquila, Evresin, West Francia.

History[edit | edit source]

In the late 9th century, jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan entered the crypt and investigated the Aquila Sewers. From her investigation, Eivor found that the ritual for Queen Richardis' deliverance has begun and that her sacrifice was near. Venturing through locked doors and guards, Eivor arrived at Little Mother's sanctum and caught Little Mother chastising the queen. Looking for a way to strike, Eivor saw an opportunity and planned her attack. When the timing was right, Eivor went and assassinated Little Mother and released the queen. Richardis thanked Eivor and asked why she came. Eivor responded due to Charles' instructions, per their agreement. Not wasting time, Richardis led the way out as Eivor protected her from rats and broke through an obstacle to end back outside in Aquila.[1]
