Port Láirge

Port Láirge was a large Irish fortification build along the River Berbha in the western part of the region, south of Greenbarrow Homestead. It featured several houses and was protected by a large military force.

In the 9th century, it was raided multiple times by the Vikings Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and her longship crew.[1]
