Poiessa Village (Ancient Greek: Ποιήεσσα) was a town on the island of Keos, Greece. In classical antiquity, it was a polis in the Lion Hill region of Pirate Islands.

Poiessa was considered an important farming area due to its fertile valley and position close to the coast. Its location made it advantageous for coastal defense and monitoring maritime traffic to Athens. Poiessa also housed the leader of the Pirate Islands.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War the village was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
