Alwin was an Anglo-Saxon living in Ravensthorpe in England during the 9th century.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Together with Thyra, Braun and Ake, Alwin lived at the Revellers' Hut in Ravensthorpe.[1]
Alwin and the other three organized the seasonal festivals at Ravensthorpe including Yule and Ēostre. During the Yule festival Eivor encountered a very drunk Alwin at Tekla's place, blaming Ake for the damage caused to her hut.[2]
During the Ēostre festival Alwin held an egg hunt, which required participants to collect 15 eggs scattered around the settlement. After Viking Shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir participated and collected all eggs, Alwin declaired her the winner.[3]
During the Sigrblot festival Alwin dared festivalgoers into defeating him in a game of Orlog. Eivor also participated in this event and defeated him, winning a bunch of festival tokens.[4]
