Norvid was a Viking who served as a scout of the Raven Clan alongside Sunniva in England during the 9th century.
Biography[edit | edit source]
As part of his first mission following the settlement of Ravensthorpe, Norvid and Sunniva were sent by Randvi to scout out the neighbouring regions ruled by Saxon kingdoms. A while later, Norvid reported back to Randvi in the longhouse, informing her of the division of the Saxon territories called shires and the location of their settlement being in Ledecestrescire.[1]
Norvid acted as a merchant during festivals held at Ravensthorpe, where he traded items in return for festival tokens.[2][3] During the Ostara festival, he was also in charge of decorations and requested Eivor Varinsdottir to help him.[4]
