Geadric was a thegn of Oxenefordscire in the late 9th century. Known for being a "determined and unwavering" soldier, the Ealdorman of Oxenefordscire awarded him with a plot of land and the title of thegn.[1]
Following the Assault on Cyne Belle Castle, Geadric became the de-facto leader of the Mercian troops in Oxenefordscire and served as an ally to Eivor Varinsdottir on numerous occasions.[2]
