Signature Template

Sorry to bug you again, but would it mess up the signature code for my old posts if I moved the contents of Template:Signature/Gabriel_Auditore to User:Gabriel_Auditore/sig ? The current system doesn't let me sign on other wikis properly but changing it to a subpage of my userpage is supposed to fix this. It would mess your signature, since the template would be a redirect and isn't retrived. You probably aren't aware of my existence, but I'm the Leaping Eagle (not for long though) and I had a request which I was told you could help me with. You'll have to create an account if you want to upload an image to this wiki. Image Deletion

Just as a heads-up Vatsa, I started a revamp on the Ezio Auditore da Firenze/Gallery page. Several of the images there are poor quality, duplicate, unsourced, or aren't used anywhere else. They'll all become orphaned after I remove them from the page.

InFamous Wiki Help

Hey Vastsa, hope you're well. So I'm having trouble over at the InFamous wiki (and I'm not just talking about War!), I've tried to update the forum (now it's not working) and to be truthful I really don't know much about wiki workings (it was so much easier just editing articles!).

I'm playing right now assassin's creed 1 and i'm doing the hunt for nine, andneveryfreaking time i can not get an investigation, i tried climbing a view point and synchronisize them, butnit really don't work, i see nothing newmon my map, no eavesdroping, pickpocketing or violonce to intimidate, the only way how i get them is being st the right point an the right time, so i have to run accrod the city to be lucky there is a investigation in my neighbourhood, What am i doing wrong? Nothing. This is quiet unusual, even if you haven't visited the Rafiq, the missions should unlock. Try visiting the city's Rafiq, might work. Image mistake

Vatsa I am so sorry about this and the annoyance it will cause but could you revert or fix this mistake I made? Basically, I uploaded an image that overwrote one of yours that is used on 3 different articles. My intention was to upload a High Quality screenshot of the Animus 2.0 on its own with anyone in the picture but for some reason it overwrote one you uploaded with Rebecca and Desmond in the picture. The file in question is this and I am sorry for the noobish mistake. I hope it can be reverted and the image I uploaded kept as well. Because article talk pages are meant for discussion about the addition or deletion of content related to the topic/article. It is to discuss the state of an article and not a place to discuss opinions about the topic. The talk page was deleted since it didn't contain any other topic, so you cannot compare it to other talk pages.
Secondly, I've been reverting any new opinions and random comments from talk pages since most users do not seem to understand the concept of using forums for discussions. Sharpshooter render

Hey there V, a promotional image of the Sharpshooter was added to the Wiki a couple of hours ago, but when I tried to enlarge it in Photoshop, it went too blurry and pixelated for a clear render. I was wondering, do you know some method to enhance enlarged images, or would it be possible for me to render the image at its small size and have the Wiki make its resolution bigger without the quality dropping, if I upload it and put it at 200px or so? Hey there Vats, I looked over the source for the info that Storm deleted and you restored, and the article is very vague.

My best guess is that when it mentions "60 minutes of exclusive PS3 gameplay not including bonus DLC", it could possibly mean that the "bonus DLC" is pre-order content. I know you're not really a console gamer, but to have the Benedict Arnold missions and then 60 minutes of additional gameplay strikes me as a bit too generous. As for the first question, Altair and Malik perfected those techniques, and documented them in the Codex. Bugs

Explanations for why I´m so insistent on adding "Twin Blacksmith Brothers" and "Desynchronization Wall Gap"

Twin Blacksmith Brothers

This is a bug I found myself while......Well, trying to bug the game, and YES, when it bugged the Blacksmith WAS displaying the "heal now" (odd, very odd...) and all other options from other shops. However, it seems I was the ONLY ONE to perform this bug, and still don´t have an image to prove it. But, I assure you it really happened.

About Desynchronization Wall Gap

I not sure if it is a bug but I know it was not supposed to be there. Again, it seems I was the only person to find this, after trying to find a way to invade the prohibited areas.

Actually, if you have an Xbox360 you can try by yourself, you just need to Replay "New Man In Town", don´t interact with machiavelly, go to the countryside area, follow the Desynchronization Wall untill you arrive at the far end(properly a corner where there will be two walls), pass through the first and get very near the second to don´t get Desynchronized.

If I remember others have experienced most of the bugs on that article. I couldn't track this Twin Blacksmith bug, so we can assume that this is a unique bug and most haven't/won't experiencing this. A Question

Hi!

I just signed up for this Wiki, even though I've been reading it for quite a while. I just have a quick, non-time dependant question.

Has there been any discussion of putting real world pictures and write ups of historical people and places in the Wiki? For example, I was reading on Wikipedia about the actual Masyaf Castle and thinking that the "real" history would be a nice addition to the in game history. If nothing else, it would be a great comparison and allow the player to appreciate the work Ubisoft put into their research.

Hello, Garbiella, you pose an interesting question but you see this is the Assassin's Creed Wiki and it has always been about historical fiction... so there hasn't been much talk about actually adding in any historical accuracies short of listing it as trivia. If you wish to compare and contrast the manipulated history of the Assassin's Creed Universe and the actual history of our world then you can feel free to do so on your own, however, I must emphasize that this is no place to be posting the accurate depictions of real history as it is not relevant to the Wiki. If you like, you can find interesting facts and list them as trivia if it is relevant to the article and beneficial to the Wiki. You do realise that we revert most of the so called Historically accurate trivia regardless of how important they are, right? An article I can think of for example is Robert de Sablé.
See, we this little Wikipedia icon in articles for user/readers interested in reading historically accurate trivia. As for real world images, this wiki is for information related to Assassin's Creed series. So, we intend to use in-game images when available. I noticed that you removed my image from the Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation page and replaced it with, what I believe is the wrong image. I am 99% sure that my image was the official box art and your's was the previous unfinished version, so I changed it back. Do not take this offensively, as I was only trying to keep things correct. An infobox image doesn't have anything to do with my user rights on this wiki. All I'm saying is, we can use a quality image as a placeholder instead of a low resolution image. Twitch TV Embed Interest?

My name is Jorge and I'm on Wikia's Community Development team. I actually want to reach out to gauge your wiki's potential interest in embedding some Twitch TV content. To that end I'm contacting both you and fellow admin Sima Yi.

To give some background, Wikia is interested in working with Twitch to get some native embeds for interested wikis. Twitch provides live-streaming of games, from simple lets-plays to massive tournaments and competitive events. Embedding could allows users to easily find streaming content or get together to chat about particular events. If the wiki is interested, you could also have you very own wiki channel/group to stream content to users, make your own show, etc.

Do you think this is something the AC wiki community might be interested in? If so, how would you like to use it (home-page embed, its standalone page with just links or an actual embed? something else? Producing your own show? Etc.) Badges problem

Hello Vats, I wanted to ask you something. For a few weeks, I've been having an issue where I only see my badges on other users' pages, and this has been happening across all wikis. I thought it was just me but I heard recently that a few other users have been having the same issue. Do you know anything about this and is Wikia working on fixing this? I reported this bug last week (AC and Hitman wiki) and they said that they are aware of this issue and are working on fixing this. Besides, I've been on Wikia for over two years now and they've been fixing the badges since then.. Heya Vats, I noticed that the current era for Recollection is shown and coded as "RE." I think this is a little vague, considering that Revelations also starts with the very same two letters and it doesn't really differentiate Recollection from it. I think "RC" may be better, what do you think? Also, can you come by the IRC when you've got the time? Redirects

Hey there Vats, a quick question if you please. Do I need to create a new page to redirect a name to another one, because I was looking over the Economic system page, and there is links in source that have a weapon's name for instance, and then there's the exact same words in lowercase after it. For instance: [[Common Sword|common sword]].

Decapitalised redirects can be created for the sake of editing, but they are useless while searching manually. But that doesn't mean we can't have redirects, it's not like they increase total page count (like fanons).
