The Tomb of Hayyan ibn Kuza,[1] also referred to as IGN 110 by present-day archaeologists[2] or locally as the Qaṣr al-Farīd (Arabic:: قَصْر ٱلْفَرِيْد, lit. "the Lonely Castle"), is a 21-meter tall tomb in southwest Hegra.[3]

The tomb's construction began sometime during the Nabataean Kingdom, though it was never completed. It stands isolated from area's other tombs, such as those in the necropolis at al-Banat Mountain. As one of Hegra's largest tombs, being visible from the nearby city of al-Ula, this has lead to the misconception that it was one of the period's most prestigious tombs.[2]
When the Alamut Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq visited the region in the 860s, he climbed the tomb to better orient himself, taking note of other landmarks from above.[4] At the site, Basim also recovered a stolen item from one of the robbers' hidden caches.[5]
