Individual or general page[edit source]
Should they each have their own page or just pictures of each one when someone does the page for Kakurega? Batfan13 (talk) 16:34, 30 August 2025 (UTC)
- I would strongly advise against making individual pages for each kakurega because there are +90(!) of them across the entire explorable map. Instead, given that they share the same features between each other as small extensions of Tomiko's hideout, I think we should do a general page the way we've done for the caravanserais and brothels. Although Assassin bureaus also have the same functions as each other, they are always formally established; have different decorations (AC1), puzzles (Valhalla), or notes (Mirage) inside, etc. while these feel more like random, small boltholes to me. – Darman (talk) 20:40, 30 August 2025 (UTC)
- Agreed with Darman here. If some were to function in the narrative in someway I could see an argument for individual pages at least for the hypothetically applicable ones. As is these basically function as viewpoints which generally don't get their own page (unless connected to some other notable feature). Lacrossedeamon (talk) 03:38, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- I think the only one that applies in the third comment happens during CoA. That being said, would this be a setup like a combo of Caravanerserais and Ravensthorpe buildings? Would a gallery of each one be too much? Batfan13 (talk) 22:58, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'd say only the Sumoto kakurega deserves a separate page from the generic one cause stuff actually happens in that one. We could maybe include them all in a gallery, but only if that gallery was in a tabber (maybe each tab a region?). Otherwise it would absolutely dwarf the rest of the page. - Soranin (talk) 00:13, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- Should the rest technically just be on the Assassin bureau article instead of this having its own page? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 01:50, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- From what I have seen, some of these are buildings while others are in abandoned and/or outside camps/caves (somehow untouched). Maybe a page with an image gallery, with a tabber per region (+ Awaji)? History would be mainly on CoA, cause the others do not have any in-game story importance (that I can remember). - We do have precedent for nonstandard bureaus what with the Cayman bureau. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 02:29, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- Looking at Cayman bureau, it is similar in terms of the exterior aspect. However, since the Cayman had its own leader, would that be a qualifying factor of being a bureau (since most kakuregas, if not all, do not have a leader established for each one)? Honestly, I can't believe that Sumoto is the only one canonically having three Assassins (at least) had used it during their mission lol. Batfan13 (talk) 06:19, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- Does a bureau actually need to have a leader or even staffed to be considered a bureau? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 10:56, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- From nearly all of the games, books, etc., there is/was at least one person. I don't really know about the board game with Da Vinci but I see that was mostly the case. Kakuregas function more like safehouses, albeit more like storage space, but that is the closest comparison imo. Batfan13 (talk) 14:47, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
