True Identity[edit source]
So, it turns out the identity of "AC" is a monk by the name of Abbos Cernuus. The confirmation is on this link: https://twitter.com/bob2356/status/1434355533314605063 This is actually amazing, in my opinion. Batfan13 (talk) 14:43, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- That's not actually confirmation, being that "solve and interpret secrets" can refer to the Saint-Denis mystery as the solving and the Abbos Cernuus theory as the interpreting. You'll notice that Antoine did not respond to Lacrosse's request for explicit confirmation: https://twitter.com/ObviousAlias4/status/1434534282131820547 - Soranin (talk) 14:57, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- Just confirmed ~15min ago that this is Abbos by the official AC account itself: https://twitter.com/assassinscreed/status/1435271770085408777 – Darman (talk) 16:15, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
Name[edit source]
Is he specifically called "of Cernuus" in game? Because Cernuus isn't a place; you can't be "of" it. Cernuus is an epithet meaning "the Crooked", not a patrial or toponymic name denoting place of origin. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 21:43, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
