The Sakai Firearm District was a firearms production district in Sakai in Izumi Settsu, Japan.

In early 1582, the Iga kunoichi Fujibayashi Naoe arrived in Sakai and talked with the merchants in the district. However, when she mentioned gold-engraved teppō, no one was able to help.[1]
While in the district, Naoe eavesdropped on two gunsmiths talking about trade forgeries, which they claimed would secure them a meeting with Imai Sōkyū. As Naoe confronted them and demanded the papers, the gunsmiths ran away, prompting Naoe to chase and kill Asajiro for his documents. With this paper, she then went to meet Sōkyū at his residence in the city.[1]
