The Assassin's Creed: Revelations Guide Book is a 239 long page book which tells mostly everything about Assassin's Creed: Revelations, including a Walkthrough of all sequences in the game, help with controls, side quests, multiplayer, and a detailed Analysis of all things inside the game. It also includes a lot of never-seen before artwork.

Primer

The Primer chapters are designed to help the average Assassin's Creed fan ease into the series with confidence, focusing on basic features for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. This includes Button definitions, Game Objectives, Maps, Movements and Abilities, Combat system and Threats and detection.

Walkthrough

The Walkthrough chapter of the Official Guide is designed to help and advise players throughout the main missions. It offers explanations, tutorials, ands tactics whenever new features, abilities or game concepts are introduced into the game. Overall it presents the best path to receiving a 100% completion in the game.

Side Quests

Side Quests chapters offer a complete guide to secondary activities such as sub-quests, minigames, and collectibles. It also gives the player tips and advice about Templar Dens, Den Defense, Recruiting Assassins, Master Assassin Mission, Book Quests, Secret Locations, Desmond's Journey and Faction HQ Missions.

Reference & Analysis

These chapters are for dedicated players seeking a perfect playthrough, where one can learn about Systems and Stats about Weapons, Armor, Outfits, Shops, Enemies, Achievements, Missions checklists and more.

Multiplayer

The Multiplayer chapters involve the basic of Multiplayer, Advanced Tips, Score & Progression and Map Analysis.

Extras

The Extra chapters contain bonus material, which is filled with spoilers, so it's best to leave until after the game's main story has been finished. It also contained the story recap and glossary, where it explained key events of the Assassin's Creed Revelations storyline. In the glossary it contains a section on the Templars and Abstergo Industries as well as on the Assassins. After this it gave short character profiles on all the main characters from the game including: Lucy Stillman, Shaun Hastings, Rebecca Crane, William Miles, Clay Kaczmarek, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, Suleiman I, Sofia Sartor, Yusuf Tazim, Prince Ahmet, Tarik Barleti, Manuel Palaiologos and Altair Ibn-La'Ahad.

It then explained the key factors in the game, including the Animus, the Bleeding Effect, Eagle Vision, Pieces of Eden, the Masyaf keys (Memory Seals) and the Codex. It explained the role of the prophets Altair and Ezio, and the prophecy assigned to them by the First Civilization. After this came a section of the First Civilization vaults and temples and on the Glyphs and The Truth from Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

Lastly, the story recap gave information on Adam and Eve, the First Civilization, the Capitoline Triad, the Toba catastrophe and the symbols seen throughout the games.

After this, in the last section of the guide, it provided insight into untold events from Altair's life. These events were:

Ahmad Sofian's suicide after the death of Umar Ibn-La'Ahad, Altair's reveal to Abbas Sofian, Abbas' attack on Altair, and Altair's training to became a Master Assassin. These all took place before the first Assassin's Creed. The other events were scattered throughout his life. They were:

Altair in Constantinople, Altair, Maria Thorpe and Darim Ibn-La'Ahad leave for Mongolia, Altair discovers the secret of the Apple of Eden, Altair's finding of the Memory Seals and the construction of his library.

The guide finishes with a bird's eye view of the fortress of Masyaf.
