Canon?

Can someone please let me know why this is an unreliable source? It is an official guide published by Ubisoft and contains a foreward from the game's producer.

Anyways, to answer you question I'd like to ask you to have patience until it can be reviewed in more detail. In the last while there has been a lot of contradiction between the Encyclopedia, the books and the games. All of this has to be reviewed and assessed by the staff and by getting general community consensus so if it is canon you can be assured that the staff will make the right decision. I understand your frustration about the undone edits but the wiki staff simply want to ensure the accuracy of the information and Ubi has not made it easy in the last while with all the contradictions they have put out there.
