Assassin's Creed: The Silk Road (French: Assassin's Creed: La route de la soie) is a choose your own adventure book by French author Mathieu Rivero which follows Oisel, a member of the Frankish Brotherhood of Assassins, as he travels to the Levant with his eagle Alouette and friend Matthias after receiving a mysterious letter from Basim Ibn Ishaq in Constantinople. It will be published in French by Hachette Heroes on 8 September, 2021.

France, 870 CE. You play as Oisel, a young Assassin from the Chinon Bureau whose daily life is turned upside down upon receiving a strange letter from Basim, illustrious mentor of Constantinople. With your best friend, Matthias, and your loyal raptor, Alouette, you are sent on his tracks along the Silk Road. Your first stop: Antioch.

Your journey to the Levant will be strewn with puzzles, battles, and mysterious enemies that will test your skills as an Assassin. A pencil, an eraser and a bookmark are the only accessories you will need for these adventures. Be careful with the choices you make, at the risk of ending up desynchronized.
