Assassin's Creed: Rogue is an upcoming 2014 sandbox action adventure game, and a sequel to 2013's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Rogue follows the story of the Templar Shay Patrick Cormac. The game will be exclusive to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is set to be released on 11 November 2014.[1]
Shay's weaponry includes an air rifle equipped with distractionary bullets and grenades. He is captain of the Morrigan, which is armed with burning oil and a puckle gun.
The game has three settings: New York, the River Valley, and the North Atlantic Ocean. The North Atlantic is an icy water-based map, where icebergs can be used as cover during naval combat, and ice sheets can be broken to uncover secrets. The River Valley is a hybrid of land-based and naval gameplay, with seamless river navigation intergrated into a map reminiscent of the Frontier from Assassin's Creed III.
During boarding sequences, Shay must defend his crew from Assassins leaping onto the Morrigan.
