Assassin's Creed: Revelations is an upcoming game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. A direct sequel to 2010's Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, the game is the fourth main installment in the video game series.[1] It is to be released in November 2011.[2]
Plot
After having freed Italy from the Templar treat, Ezio Auditore finds out that there is a new army of Templars being formed in the city of Constantinople - threatening to destabilize the region. Ezio follows in the footsteps of his spiritual mentor and forefather Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, which will lead him to discovery and revelation.[1]
Gameplay
The gameplay system from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will be the basis for Revelations, though Ezio's skills, like free-running and combat, will be upgraded with an as of yet unknown new feature.[2]
Meanwhile, the modern day aspect of the game will also be upgraded with a new feature labelled as "revolutionary gameplay", which Desmond will need to change the construct of his ancesters' memories and in the process, unravel the future.[1]
Multiplayer
The game will come with a multiplayer mode like its predecessor Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, though it will be upgraded with new modes, maps and characters to refine the experience.[1]
