Le Roi des Thunes (English: The King of Money; unknown – January 1791) was the slang title held by the King of Beggars, the leader of the Cour des miracles, a Parisian counter-society devoted to criminals, beggars and thieves. The individual bearing the title during the French Revolution participated in the assassination of the Templar Grand Master, François de la Serre.[1] Later, de la Serre's adoptive son, the Assassin Arno Dorian, tracked his henchman, Aloys La Touche, in order to find the location of his elusive master.[2]
