Animus Next is a website used to promote the Assassin's Creed franchise to newcomers. It is currently only accessible through Ubisoft's Chinese site. It presents itself as promotion media for Abstergo and its product the Animus.

History

First teased on 15 August, with a Chinese blog post with "ComingSoon" written in Morse code.^[1] Animus Next was launched in China on the Chinese-language Ubisoft website on 27 August 2022.^[2] A trailer was released to promote the website, the Assassin's Creed fan site Access the Animus, released an English-translated version of the trailer onto their YouTube channel.^[3]

ANIMUS is a core project that integrates the most cutting-edge technology and infinite vision of Abstergo Industries. By exploring the mystery of genetic memory, its research value will benefit all mankind. And ANIMUS NEXT is the latest device to be put into testing. After nearly 20 years of iteration and updates, ANIMUS NEXT has made great progress in terms of ease of use, convenience, and stability of the device.
