The House of Nef was the residence of Nef in Memphis, Egypt, during the 1st century BCE. In addition to him, it served as a home to a number of homeless children he'd taken under his wing, including Apheru, Neema, Ngozi, Iphri, Matia, and Kawit.

However, a wealthy Roman, Gaia Afrania, kidnapped children of the streets, trafficking them to her clients in Alexandria. Kawit, the eldest of the children, was angered by this and sought to rescue the children, but was captured instead, too.^[1]

In retaliation, Gaia Afrania had Nef slain in his own home. ^[2]
