Gunnar was a Norse who worked as the chief blacksmith in Eivor's settlement of Ravensthorpe during the 9th century.[1]
Biography
Gunnar was a Blacksmith lived in Fornburg during 9th century. He was a very skilled Blacksmith. During sometime Gunnar crafted an axe for Eivor's father, Varin which even after years he would say that it was one of his masterpieces.
During the discussions between Varin and Raven Clan's alliance, Gunnar was among the people who was in the feast doing arm wrestling with other vikings in the feast. He later fought against the ambush of Kjotve the Cruel and survived the massacre.
At his adult days, Gunnar continued to his smith job at Fornburg. During his adulthood he married with a few woman but he got divorced with each of them in the end. Sometime later when Eivor brought him back his father's axe, Gunnar upgraded it with some better quality materials.
After Harald Fairhair's declaration of peace, Gunnar was among the others who have decided to set sail for new lands. He has continued his smithy at their new settlement, Ravensthorpe, at England.
