Depleted Quarry Hideout was a bandit hideout south of the Giza market place in Egypt, during the 1st century BCE.

In 48 BCE, some dissatisfied 'customers' of Mered the merchant presumably stole Mered's horse and took it to the quarry. Mered asked the Medjay Bayek of Siwa to retrieve the steed, in return for information on the member of the Order of the Ancients member known as The Hyena.[1]

According to a note found on this location, Babaef is the leader of this hideout and a group of his bandits also occupy the nearby Lost Village. The note reads:

"Babaef, we took the village. I know you don't agree, but Plolemy's Phylakitai don't care about backwater locations and it's a nice point to launch a raid from. Send me men I will make good use of them."
