Deoraby Spar Cavern

Deoraby Spar Cavern was a cave in northeastern Snotinghamscire. It was a site that held one of the tablets that are part of the Treasures of Britain.
History
In the 870s, the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir ventured inside the cave and found a hidden entrance within the cave. Eivor maneuvered her way through the cavern's damaged sculptures and found herself in a room. There, Eivor recovered a whetstone tablet and soon left the area.[1]
Behind the scenes
It is based upon Blue John Cavern in Derbyshire, England, near to Peak Cavern. The glowing blue stones visible in the cave represent the mineral Derbyshire Spar, also known as Blue John.
