Agapitus was a priest based in Roman Britain during the late-4th century.

Biography

Agapitus and other two church fathers, Vitus and Secunda, were executed in a public spectacle by the Hidden Ones in order to send a message to Emperor Theodosius I who had been supporting the campaign of persecution against the pagans living within the Empire.[1]

Legacy

Five centuries later, the Hidden Ones' contract of the assassinations was recovered by the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir as she explored the Roman ruins of the Temple of Ceres bureau.[1]
