Assassin's Creed III is an upcoming game that is being developed by Ubisoft, and set for release on October 30,

2012.^[1] It will feature a new setting, as well as a new protagonist, instead of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad or Ezio Auditore da Firenze.^[2] Ubisoft have also claimed that the game will be bigger than its previous console installments.^[3]

As of 15 February 2012, Ubisoft has worked on the title for three years. In a statement made by Yves Guillemot, he shared that "what we have seen is just fabulous."^[4]
