Ezio Auditore in the DLC mission Bonfire of Vanities

Downloadable content (also known as DLC) refers to content released separately from Assassin's Creed II. The first DLC, entitled "Battle of Forlì," was released January 28th, 2010. Whilst the second one, entitled "Bonfire of the Vanities," was released on February 18th, 2010.

Both DLC packs fill the previously missing memory blocks that were originally cut from the game's design. The Bonfire Of The Vanities included a new area in Florence, the sprint jump ability, which allows Ezio to jump twice as far, as well as the 3 in-game bonus quests (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 only), allowing the character to explore the following (Each will show up as a "Templar Lair" on the map):

Originally exclusive to the White, Black and Master Assassin's Edition.
