Assassin's Creed: Victory is the upcoming ninth main installment in the Assassin's Creed series. The conceptual title and screenshots of the game were first leaked on 2 December 2014, following which Ubisoft acknowledged the leaked assets as genuine.
As can be deduced from the leaked images, the game will be set in 19th century London, during the Victorian era. The leaked informations also unveiled that the new Assassin protagonist will be equiped with a new tool, the Grappling Hook, allowing the assassin to go vertical and that he will also have the opportunity to buy hats while fleeing pursuers in order to better blend into crowds.
On May 7, Ubisoft released a short video teasing a future announcement for May 12 and featuring the protagonist's hands, equiped with the traditionnal Assassin Hidden Blade, a Brass knuckles, a miniaturized cannon on the upper side of his reinforced gauntlet and what appears to be a Sword Cane. Also, when the URL of the video is checked, the name "Jacob's hands" appeared, implying that the conceptual or final name of the protagonist is Jacob.
