Assassin's Creed: Pirates is a spin-off game for smartphones and tablets developed by Ubisoft Paris and Ubisoft Craiova. The game follows a pirate, Alonzo Batilia, who is in search for the treasure of La Buse. The game focuses on naval combat and is set in the 18th century, similar to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.^[2]

History

The game was announced on 10 September 2013. A debut trailer was released, showing the story and naval combat.
