A disciple and the adopted child of Wei Yu took part in the defence of the Great Wall of China against the Xiongnu in 215 BCE.[1]

- ↑ In The Joys of Youth, it is revealed by the disciple that their twentieth birthday is on the following day. However, East Asian age reckoning, which consists in a group of methods practised in the East Asian cultural spheres that are characterised by counting inclusively from 1 at birth, must be accounted for, given that individuals from these traditional spheres would possess a year count increased by 1. Due to this, the disciple would actually be making 19 years on that day.
