Shenshu is a deity in Chinese mythology who acts as a guardian of the Guimen Guan (鬼門關; lit. Gate of the Ghosts), the entrance to the underworld. For this role, the higher gods blessed him with the power to intuitively divine the intent of all spirits who approach the gate, allowing him to judge them with keen insight.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Shenshu was one of three Great Foes that featured in the closed beta test for Assassin's Creed: Jade.
