Minmontu (unknown – 48 BCE) was an Egyptian man who worked in Nitria, a natron mine located in Saqqara Nome during the reign of Ptolemy XIII.
Biography
Minmontu previously served the pharaoh, Cleopatra, and opposed Rudjek, the Nomarch of Saqqara and a member of the Order of the Ancients. After Rudjek's death, his mistress, Suphia believed Minmontu to have played a part in his death, resulting in Suphia kidnapping the worker and killing him in the hills behind the mine.
