An Assassin's Creed TV series is confirmed to be in development by Ubisoft.[1]

On 5 July 2017, producer Adi Shankar announced a partnership with Ubisoft on his Facebook page and revealed that he was working on "an original story" Assassin's Creed anime series.[2]

On 1 January 2018, a video clip about Shankar's announcement on UNILAD Gaming's Facebook page showed animation of Bayek and Senu fighting members of the Order of the Ancients.[3]
