He is an ancestor to Grace and David Collins, two 21st century teenagers.
Biography
At some point, Masireh married a woman and fathered children.[1]
One day after selling his wares in Timbuktu, Masireh went to meet a merchant from Marrakech, Morocco to explore new business opportunities. The merchant was staying at a local inn and Masireh met him inside. The two greeted each other with various pleasantries before getting to business over some freshly brewed tea. The merchant wanted to know the secret location of the gold mines of the Wangaran people, a request Masireh could not help with as it was important to his people. The merchant thought as much, just as Masireh's vision started going blurry having been drugged via the tea. He soon fell unconscious.[1]
Awoken some time later, bound, the merchant continued to interrogate Masireh for the location of the mines of the Wangaran. He sliced Masireh's cheek with his own dagger before leaving to sleep for the night. Masireh was given five hours to contemplate and pray to Allah for strength.[1] Still unable to free himself from his bindings, Masireh still sat in the desert where he was left the following morning. The merchant approached, still demanding the location, however, Masireh lied telling the merchant that he didn't know the location of the mines as he was in charge of the trade while his brother was in charge of the mines. He then cleverly tricked the merchant with a false map that his brother supposedly left for him in the case he died.[2]
Legacy
In 2016, Grace Collins relived his memories through the Animus on behalf of the Templars in order to look for clues for a hidden Piece of Eden.[1]
Personality and traits
Masireh was not a large man, instead having a slender stature. His attire consisted of robes with sandals and a sash around his waist. He also wore a cap covering his head.[1]
Equipment and skills
he carried a dagger and was skilled enough in its use.[1] He was also a proficient liar as he was able to trick his way out of revealing the location of his people's gold mines.[2]
