Lysias (c. 445 – c. 380 BC), was a Greek orator, son of Kephalos of Syracuse and brother of Polemarchos. Lysias and his brother owned a shield factory at Piraeus, employing a large number of slaves and being extremely lucrative for the brothers.[1]
