Lykourgos of Sparta (fl. c. 820 BC) was the quasi-legendary lawgiver of Sparta who established the military-oriented reformation of Spartan society in accordance with the Oracle of Apollo at Delphi.
Legacy and influence[edit | edit source]
During the Peloponnesian War, a set of armor allegedly belonging to Lykourgos was acquired by the misthios Kassandra.[1]
In 2018, one of Layla Hassan's Animus modifications enabled an avatar based on the quasi-legendary lawgiver to become a lieutenant aboard Kassandra's ship, the Adrestia.[1]
