An Lushan (Chinese: 安祿山; c. 703 – 757) was a general in the Tang dynasty who rebelled against Emperor Xuanzong.

His conflict with Yang Guozhong, another member of the Order of the Ancients, eventually sparked a civil war. During the war, he established himself as self-proclaimed Emperor of the newly formed state, Yan.
