Istellah was a young Egyptian girl living in the rebel camp of Remetch Ra during the 1st century BCE.

Around 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa passed through the rebel camp, and heard about missing children. Nawa told him that her cousin, Sebni, had told the children stories about Alexander the Great, and gotten in their head the idea to go treasure hunting. Afterwards, Sebni and Khamet had headed after the children, but were caught.[1]

Bayek promised to find the rebel warriors and the children, and rescue them. After talking wtih Sebni and Khamet, Bayek left with the latter to look for the children at the ruined Alexander's Temple. They found Hetanu there, but the boy told them that Istellah had left to get help from Theos Elpis Rift. Once Bayek reached the chasm camp, he found it under attack by Ptolemic forces, and helped the rebels to repel them.[1]

Afterwards, he learned that the forces' leader, Medon, had taken both Istellah and the shield she'd taken from the temple, to the Pissa Oros Citadel. Bayek hunted down Medon, and found Istellah hiding in a hay cart in the citadel. He led her out, to a small rebel campsite.[1]

At the campsite, they talked, with Bayek admiring Istellah's spirit and skills, and telling her to find him when she was older, to fight together.[1]
