Hrothgar was an Norse Viking raider living in England during the 9th century. He was originally born in Finnmark, the northern part of modern Norway.
History
When Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir traveled to East Anglia to investigate the death of a number of cattle, she met with Wulfhilda. Eivor learned Hrothgar was holed up in a church near Brisleah Farm and that they would often get blamed for ill things happening in the surrounding area by the local farmers.[1] During her investigations, Eivor and Wulfhilda traveled to the church were Hrothgar resided. Finding his crew dead, and Hrothgar gravely injured. He gaves some info about the creature Grendel and succumbed to his wounds soon after.[2]
