They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me Grendel's mother.

This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias.

Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service?

Grendel's mother was an Anglo-Saxon living in England during the 9th century. She was the mother of Grendel, the size of a very large man but with the mental capacity of a child.

History

When Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir traveled to East Anglia to investigate the death of a number of cattle, she met with Wulfhilda. During her investigation into the dead cows, she unknowingly met Grendel's mother, who blaimed Hrothgar and his raiding crew.[1] When Eivor and Wulfhilda fruther investigated the nearby forests, Eivor saved Grendel's mother from some wolves, who was near some other dead cows, claiming to be searching for her best milk cow.[2] Eivor's investigation eventually led her to Grime's Graves where she was attacked by Grendel's mother, and killed her whilst defending herself.[3]
