The Diaoyu Castle, also known as Diaoyucheng was a Chinese fortification located in Hechuan, Chongqing, China.

In 1259, the castle was the site of a battle fought between the Song dynasty of China against the Mongol Empire. During the siege, Möngke Khan, the Khan of the Mongols, was assassinated by Zhang Zhi, the Assassin initiate and daughter of a Song commander.[1]
