Farnham

Bunce Hideaway was an Anglo-Saxon farm build along the River Dee north of the local monastery and east of Fry's Island. It was protected by a single soldier.

In the 9th century, the farm was raided multiple times by Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and their raiding crew on his longship.[1]
