Groggy Bill was a pirate active in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy.
At some point before 1713, Bill was a member of Captain Cliff's crew. In 1713, Edward Kenway went to him to cash in a favor, asking for Cliff's usual place to lay low. Though Bill was anxious, he told Edward what he knew in exchange for a drink.[1]
