Viridovix was a Gallic gladiator who fought in the Krokodilopolis Arena in Egypt along with his brother, Diovicos, during the mid-1st century BCE.
Biography
Viridovix fought with a large scythe in combat, and he and his brother were undefeated in the Krokodilopolis Arena in Faiyum, Egypt, where they served as fierce rivals of fellow gladiator Kensa.[1] When not in the arena, the brothers served as mercenaries to the Nomarch of Faiyum and member of the Order of the Ancients, Berenike, also known as "the Crocodile".[2]
