They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me Bane of Hathor.

This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias.

Bane of Hathor (died 48 BCE) was a Phylakes who patrolled Atef-Pehu Nome, and the northern riverside of Haueris Nome in Egypt during the reign of Ptolemy XIII.

Following the assassination of Gennadios by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, Bane of Hathor and his comrades were tasked with hunting down and executing the Medjay. In 48 BCE, Bayek hunted down and killed the Phylakes, obtaining his signature bow and an ornamented key in the process.[1]

Trivia

  • His nickname was a reference to the Egyptian goddess Hathor who was often depicted as a cow. His helmet also alludes to this.
