The Templars inside the facility

The Abstergo Industries Hong Kong facility was a complex belonging to Abstergo Industries located in Hong Kong, China.

History

In February 2017, an Assassin team, which consisted of Charlotte de la Cruz and Barindra Mitra, was sent to investigate any findings in the abandoned Abstergo facility. However, during their investigation, they were attacked by the Instruments of the First Will. Mitra and his team were killed while Charlotte and her tech support Guernica Moneo barely escaped the Instruments' grasp. The following morning, Master Templar Otso Berg and his tech support Violet da Costa investigated the facility and the mayhem left behind. While the Templar agents documented their findings, Otso left Violet to conclude their inspection.

However, Otso changed into his new Black Cross attire and did an independent investigation along with André Bolden acting as his tech support. Viewing the evidence left behind, he saw both Abstergo and Assassin technology combined into new weaponry. He concluded that the attack was done by a combined faction of both sides.
