Audun (died 874), also known as The Vault, was an advisor to King Ricsige of Northumbria during the 870s. He was also the founding member of the Red Hand, and a high ranking member of the Order of the Ancients' Wardens of Law sect.

Biography

As one of Ricsige's most trusted advisors, Audun used his power and influence to grow the Order's influence in Jorvik. During a Yuletide celebration, Audun poisoned and murdered a half dozen local noblemen, revealing his true nature. He was killed by Eivor Varinsdottir, who took the Order member down before he could flee the scene.[1]
