The Assassin's Creed III soundtrack is a collection of music tracks written by Scottish composer Lorne Balfe that were used as background music in Assassin's Creed III. It was released online on 30 October 2012.
Background
On 14 June 2012, Lorne Balfe confirmed on Twitter that he would be the sole composer for Assassin's Creed III,[1] marking a series milestone for being the first main game to not be scored by Jesper Kyd. In mid-October of 2012, Ubisoft released several 30-second samples of all the tracks within the Assassin's Creed III soundtrack on the French website IDOL.[2]
