Assassin's Creed III is an upcoming game that is being developed by Ubisoft, and set for release on October 30, 2012.^[1] It is confirmed to feature a new setting, as well as a new protagonist, instead of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad or Ezio Auditore da Firenze.^[2] Ubisoft have also claimed that the game will be bigger than its previous console installments.^[3] As of 15 February 2012, Ubisoft has worked on the title for three years.^[4]

Ubisoft officialy announced on February 15th that Assassin's Creed III will be completing the story of Desmond.

Yves Guillemot revealed that the game has been in development for three years and that "what we have seen is just fabulous."^[5]

A release date was annouced to be on October 30th, 2012.^[6]
