Assassin's Creed 4: Hawk is the fourth volume of the Assassin's Creed comic series, released on 16 November 2012, prior to the release of Assassin's Creed III.

Assassin's Creed 4: Hawk focuses on the story of Jonathan Hawk and continues his story from Assassin's Creed 3: Accipiter, as he explores the memories of his ancestor Numa Al'Khamsin, a member of the Egyptian Brotherhood of Assassins during the middle of the 13th century.

Plot

Desmond Miles is urgently called on another mission. He entrusted the task of finding Piece of Eden #24 to another Assassin: Jonathan Hawk. In charge of locating and retrieving the artifact, Hawk embarks on a search for the Scepter of Aset, a powerful artifact supposed to provide an aura of power to its holder.

Through reliving the lives of his ancestor Numa Al'Khamsin, Hawk starts a search for the artifact in Egypt. Exploring the memories of his ancestor from 1257, Hawk found out that at the time the Scepter of Isis had been given to the new Sultan, the founder of the Bahri Dynasty. But the Templars are also on the trail of this precious artifact through their formidable agent Vernon Hest.
