Svend (died c. 873) was a tattooist and barber who lived in Ravensthorpe during the 9th century.

Biography

A while after emigrating to Great Britain and settling down in Ravensthorpe, Svend passed away silently in his sleep. His apprentice Tove took over his workshop after his death.[1]

  • Sven is a variant of the name Sven, which in Old Norse means "young man" or "young warrior".
